The DR1900 by Hach is a portable spectrophotometer with over 220 pre-programmed test methods, accepting the Hach and the Lange chemistry. It is rugged and has a large, clear screen, with easy to use navigation, making it great for use in the field.

The DR1900 will accept the following vial/cell sizes:
- Most 13mm LCK/COD vials (not all LCK vials are suitable for use in DR1900). Please note, in this instrument the barcode recognition of LCK vials is not possible
- 1 inch sample cell (round, square and pour thru)
- 1 cm sample cell
The DR1900 does not accepts the 16mm TNT/COD vials.
Every Hach method comes with a handy method sheet (see below for example) , detailing the exact cuvette (and also material- glass or plastic) needed to perform that test in each compatible instrument. You will be able to see every instrument that particular test can be performed in, along with any further accessories if required. If you would like to read more about the different types of sample cells and cuvettes used in the Hach range of colorimeters and spectrophotometers (including the DR900, DR3900 and DR6000), check out our other post here.
