New Quantofix glucose for the determination of glucose content in solutions Also suitable for the detection of the glucose content in potatoes
This test allows the immediate detection of glucose.
This test concentrates especially towards potato processing. The processor is able to check directly the quality of the delivered potatoes.
The glucose content is an important quality feature regarding storage and the starting germination of potatoes.
A high concentration of glucose appears after a long storage or a storage at warm conditions. This leads to a lower quality in the appearance and taste.
Method: Test strips to determine glucose content
Range: 50 – 2000 mg/L glucose
Gradation: 0 – 50 – 100 – 250 – 500 – 1000 – 2000 mg/L glucose
Sufficient for: 100 tests
Shelf life: 2.5 years after production
Example procedures
Procedure in potato samples:
a) Crush potatoes. Add distilled water if necessary.
b) Dip test strip in the test solution for 1 second
