Programmable Shaking Heating/Chilling Dry Block for -20°C to +100°C

The Torrey Pines Scientific Inc  EchoTherm Model SC25XT is a fully programmable shaking dry block unit for chilling or heating, with a temperature range of -20°C to +100°C.

The unit is fully programmable with a 5-program memory and with a temperature range from -20°C to +100°C. The variable speed orbital shaker mixes samples while controlling the sample temperature to within 1°C.

Included are a 30-day count down timer with alarm and auto-off, data logger, and RS232 I/O port for datalogging or controlling the unit from a computer.

Sample blocks are available for the full range of tube sizes from 0.2ml up to 50ml centrifuge tubes, 2ml vials, 20ml scintillation vials, PCR tubes and plates and even 96-well and 384-well plates of all shapes.

The unit is Peltier driven for chilling and heating.

Overall the SC25XT is an excellent molecular biology tool and can be used to run temperature/time profiles, unattented restriction digestions or ligations, automatic enzyme reactions and deactivations, storing oocytes at 17°C, or storing DNA libraries.

It comes complete with instructions and a universal bench top power supply for use anywhere in the world and is UL, CSA and CE compliant.
