Jenway are proud to announce the launch of a new double beam spectrophotometer – Jenway Model 6850. This is the first spectrophotometer in the Jenway range with a variable spectral bandwidth, providing a very flexible platform for a wide variety of quality control, pharmaceutical, biochemical and clinical applications. The Jenway 6850 provides research level performance at a low price point.
This versatile spectrophotometer has an integrated user interface for fast and intuitive local control. The Jenway 6850 offers multiple measurement modes for photometrics, concentration, multi-wavelength, spectrum scanning, quantitation, kinetics and DNA and protein analysis.
Jenway Model 6850 covers the UV/visible wavelength range from 190 to 1100nm with a user selectable spectral bandwidth of 0.5nm, 1nm, 2nm, 4nm or 5nm providing flexibility whilst ensuring compliance to European Pharmacopeia requirements.
An integrated user interface provides full control of the instrument so there is no need to buy a PC to run the spectrophotometer. However, Jenway Prism PC control software is included as standard, introducing functionality such as greater data storage and additional post-measurement tools.
