Keep a clean operation whilst using DNA Samples

Biological contamination can creep into your work stations through dirty work surfaces, non-sterile consumables, polluted reagents or through the users own clothing, coughs and sneezes! Successful culture depends on keeping it free from micro-organisms and maintaining aseptic technique.

The Grant Bio UV Cabinets helps to maintains aseptic technique with an innovative dual UV system. The UV-air recirculator provides constant decontamination of the air volume within the cabinet while working and traditional surface UV decomtamination while the door is closed. The UV disinfects the chamber, inactivating any DNA/RNA fragments during 15-30min of exposure.

They are equipped with a high efficiency flow-type bactericidal UV cleaner-recirculator which provide constant decontamination inside the cabinet during operation and generates 25 m³/h air flow exchange. The UV cleaner-recirculator consists of UV lamp, dust filters and a fan. The recirculation effect increases the maximum density of the UV light making it sufficiently effective for DNA / RNA inactivation.

There are three units in the range, the UVT-B-AR is the economy UV cabinet, the UVC/T-M-AR is the stainless steel UV cabinet and if you are in need of a double PCR workstation there is the UVT-S-AR.
