TRUEscience launched their brand new Smart Bluetooth pH meter at Lab Innovations in November with their brilliant Milli Vault mini museum experience.
If you attended you couldn’t fail to notice the stand, with its black bank vault trimmed with a huge vault door, welcoming visitors to the experience the “Milli-Vault”. Check out the video here.
Using interactive exhibits visitors were able to experience for themselves how technology has changed, and were asked “but has your pH meter?”
The TRUEscience pH cap, a novel, open system that will accept any pH electrode with a standard S7 connector aims to shake up the way pH tests are performed, making them more connected, more credible and more accessible.
Many high end features such as logging and data storage are now made available at a much lower price, but new features making use of the tablet and app interface have also been added to change testing completely; add GPS tags and photos to stored results, scan in QR coded buffers to be automatically reminded when they expire, access MSDS and certificates of analysis instantly on your meter, and store full traceability of historical calibrations within the app for instant access.
Developed and manufactured in the UK, TRUEscience listened to real customers who struggled with traditional meters which have complicated procedures to calibrate, unclear prompts and limited functionality in data storage and logging.
TRUEscience decided there could be a better way to measure pH, and after 2 years of development the TRUEscience Smart pH cap was developed.
One of the clever aspects of the TRUEscience system is that the meter is an APP on a basic android tablet. The TRUEscience team welcome ideas for system improvements, and because it’s an App users can just update their tablet to get these improvements installed right away.
The system is designed around one simple idea – “making measurement SMART”. If you want to find out more about the TRUEscience system and how it could assist you please get in touch with one of our technical team on 01954 233 120, email firstname.lastname@example.org or fill in the form below
