How can I make a simple dilution of my sample for field water testing?
We are doing some testing in the field for water quality parameters such as Ammonia and Iron, However the range of the test is not sufficient for the samples we have. Is there a simple way of diluting the sample in the field? Many test kits have limited range due to the chemistry used in the test. A simple method of diluting your sample in the field is the Palintest dilution tube which has graduations for x2, x3, x4, x5, and x10.
