Broadly, their range is split in to two groups - the microcentrifuge (including the mini centrifuge) and the multipurpose centrifuge. The mirocentrifuges are small bench top centrifuges accommodating typically 1.5/2ml or 5ml tubes. The multipurpose centrifuges can accommodate larger tubes with the greatest capacity model capable of holding up to 4 x 1,000ml tubes. Eppendorf centrifuges have features such as soft close lids and quick lock rotors and are available in a number of formats - such as with and without refrigeration and with a foil keypad or knob settings control. With this choice, you are sure to find the right centrifuge.
